DriftPost is a social media management service based in Brighton, UK. This page explains what happens to any personal details you share with us. The short version: we only use them to reply to you, we never share or sell them, and we delete them if you ask.
What we collect, and why
If you fill in our contact form, we receive the details you type: your name, business name, email address, preferred time to talk, and anything you add in the notes. We use them for exactly one thing: replying to your enquiry. The legal basis for this is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us.
If you email us directly, we hold your email like any normal correspondence.
Where your details go
Straight to us. We use trusted infrastructure providers (for email delivery and website hosting) to make that happen, but we don't share, sell, or add your details to any marketing list, and nobody else gets to see them.
Cookies and tracking
None. This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or tracking scripts.
How long we keep things
Only as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any work that follows from it. Ask us to delete your details at any time and we will.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@driftpost.co.uk and we'll sort it. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
